HRC has assisted the City of Farmington Hills with administration and implementation of its Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Program since 1996.  HRC field staff conducted site observations at residential and commercial construction sites to ensure that adequate soil erosion controls are installed and maintained in accordance with the city-issued soil erosion permit.  When controls are not adequately installed or maintained, HRC initiates enforcement action against the property owner on behalf of the City.  HRC maintains records of all site observations, enforcement actions and contacts.  HRC field staff have completed MDEQ Phase 1 and Phase 2 training and have been certified as NPDES Stormwater Operators.
