Reconstruction of
1.9 km of Sashabaw Road from two lanes to a 4-lane boulevard.
The project includes approximately 2 km of new 400 mm watermain,
and coordinating storm design with the Township's regional
detention design. (Regional system also designed by
HRC.) In compliance with the Township's Master Safety
Path plan, safety paths were constructed the entire length
of the project. Coordinated the design with private
utility relocation that included major new facilities for
growing regional area.

Construction Engineering and Testing
Adjacent areas were being developed during design and construction phases requiring additional coordination of construction staging and also utility installation.
Right-of-Way/Easement Acquisition
HRC actively obtained the complete property acquisitions
for this project. HRC staff coordinated the title
search activities with the ordering of the required Real
Estate appraisals. HRC's Survey Department prepared
all of the documents that were required, including the legal
descriptions of the takings, drawings and using the RCOC
Real Estate actual conveyance documents. The total
number of parcels reflects all fee purchases, and easements.
