Q: |
Will I have access to my driveway? |
A: |
Yes. Contractor intends to maintain two-way traffic along all streets in the subdivision for as much of the project as practically possible. However, there will be times when due to excavation and paving activities, traffic may be limited to only one lane for short periods of time. Further, there may be some isolated instances when due to concrete curing, access to driveways may be temporarily unavailable. These inconveniences will be kept to a minimum and residents will be notified in advance of these occurrences. Also, please keep in mind that there are several access points to the subdivision. So there may be times where it may be more efficient to use the other entrances to the sub if the contractor’s work is impeding access to the first one. |
Q: |
Will the sidewalks be open during construction? |
A: |
Yes. The majority of sidewalk will remain open, but some isolated sidewalk repairs are proposed, as well as reconstruction of all ramps and adjacent sidewalk at intersections. These areas will be marked by construction barrels or barricades, and should be avoided if at all possible. If you choose to use the sidewalk during construction, please be aware that it is a construction zone and be very careful. |
Q: |
Will my mail service be interrupted? |
A: |
No. The Contractor is responsible to provide access to all mailboxes during construction. This may include temporary relocation of the mailboxes depending on construction activities around their immediate vicinity. |
Q: |
Will my garbage service be interrupted? |
A: |
No. The Contractor is responsible for providing access to garbage trucks for trash collection services on Wednesday mornings. |
Q: |
My sprinklers were damaged during construction. Will they be fixed? |
A: |
Yes. If the Contractor caused damage to your sprinklers during construction, they will be repaired by the Contractor prior to lawn restoration. To help the Contractor in this matter and minimize damages, we recommend that each home owner mark the location of their sprinkler line and heads along the frontage of their property. |
Q: |
Will emergency access be available at all times? |
A: |
Yes. |
