Q: |
Will I have access to my driveway? |
A: |
Yes, but your driveway may temporarily closed while the safety path is being installed through the driveway. The HRC project observer will notify each resident prior to their driveway being closed. We recommend that residents talk with their neighbors to coordinate sharing driveways in the event that a temporary closure is necessary. The new concrete will take seven days to cure before it can be opened to traffic. |
Q: |
Will my mail service be interrupted? |
A: |
No. The Contractor is responsible to provide access to all mailboxes during construction. This may include temporary relocation of the mailboxes depending on construction activities around their immediate vicinity. |
Q: |
Will my garbage service be interrupted? |
A: |
No. The Contractor is responsible for providing access to garbage trucks for trash collection services on Wednesday mornings. |
Q: |
My sprinklers were damaged during construction. Will they be fixed? |
A: |
Yes. If the Contractor caused damage to your sprinklers during construction, they will be repaired by the Contractor prior to lawn restoration. To help the Contractor in this matter and minimize damages, we recommend that each home owner mark the location of their sprinkler line and heads along the frontage of their property. |
Q: |
Will emergency access be available at all times? |
A: |
Yes. |
Q: |
Who do I contact if I have a question? |
A: |
If your question relates to a field matter, please contact the HRC on-site observer. This contact information is provided as a tab on the right side of this page. If your question is more of a policy or non-field matter, contact Deanna Murphy at the City DPW or Mike Darga at HRC. |
Q: |
How often will this web site be updated? |
A: |
HRC intends to update information on this web site at certain milestones in the progress schedule (initial start-up, completion of rough grading, completion of construction, etc.). HRC will also be updating the site approximately every two weeks during times of regular construction operations. During periods of inactivity, the updates will be less frequent. |
Q: |
How long will the project take to complete? |
A: |
A preliminary project schedule is included in a link on the right side of this page. This preliminary project schedule was developed at the beginning on this project and is subject to change depending on field conditions and weather. As part of the regular updates, HRC will provide information as to how the construction activities are following this preliminary project schedule. |
